Annual Open Exhibition
The Exhibition, open to non-members, is held in the Victoria Art Gallery every year. It is the highlight of the Society’s calendar and a big social event not just for Bath's artistic community, but also for others in the wider locality.
Our 121st Open Exhibition opens at the Victoria Art Gallery on Saturday19th September until Saturday 7th November 2026. Submissions for non-member artists open at 9.00am on Wednesday 3rd June 2026 via OESS using this link: https://bathsocietyofartists.oess1.uk/

Judging of awards: Thurs 17th Sept from 1.00 to 3.30 pm
Preview evening: Fri 18th Sept 2026 bookings for 4.30-6.00pm; 6.00-7.30pm (Presentation); and 7.30-8.30pm slots.
Commencement of exhibition: 10.30 am on Sat 19th September 2026
Handing back non-selected work: 10.30-4.30pm on Sun 20th, Mon 21st & Tues 22nd Sept ‘26
Exhibition ends: 5.00 pm on Saturday 7th November 2026
Collection of unsold work: 10.30-4.30pm Sun 8th & Mon 9th November 2026
